Stage Set Creation

Description: Pre-production set team helps build, paint, and finish walls, doors, windows, etc. on stage. Set team generally meets on Saturday mornings and occasionally Tuesday evenings.

Requirements: Prior knowledge, experience, and personal tools are helpful but not necessary. Teachability is required.

Front of House

Description: Box Office, Greeters, Ushers, Concessions and Merchandise, General Housekeeping Tasks

Requirements: ATTIRE: White blouse or button up shirt; Black pants, skirt, or capris; and Theatre vest ATTENDANCE: Call time is 60 minutes prior to performances. Must attend briefing. ATTITUDE: Smile and Speak Up. (Housekeeping is exempt from Attire and Briefing requirements.)

Hair, Makeup, Costumes

Description: Volunteers on this team will work together and with the director to realize the vision of the actors' appearance during the show.

Requirements: Meet with Production Team. Help backstage or in the green room before and/or during performances.

Backstage Property (Props)

Description: The Property Team works with the director and each other to realize the vision of the stage furnishings and handheld props.

Requirements: Meet with Production Team and/or Stage Manager directly. Often also help backstage during performances.

Marketing / Publicity

Description: Help marketing team with e-marketing, reels, photography, poster/flyer distributions, newsletter, etc.

Requirements: Meet with marketing manager. Attention to detail

Tech Crew

Description: The Tech Crew works alongside the Production Director to help realize the vision through lighting, sound, and effects. Volunteer times are role-specific, but generally concentrated during the final month of each production.
